The phenomenal Janine Klein's performance in â┚¬Å”Gay Bar Star: Return from the Big Houseâ┚¬Â is a must see at this year's Fringe Festival. Fresh out of jail, Janine's saucy persona mounts a Fringe Festival comeback full of wit and re-worked Broadway classics. For the May 17th premiere, Eddie Cooper was a surprise fill-in for the role of Eddie, usually played by the show’s writer John Ryan. Klein’s voice is incredible, especially in the last song, “Don’t Cry for Me Homosexuals,” sung to the tune of Evita’s “Don’t Cry for me Argentina.”
