Former Cirque du Soliel artist Ana Cuellar presents “Luna,” a contemporary dance story.
As told by several vignettes with dance and Cirque-style acrobatics, “Luna” scribes each of her creations as they dramatically come to life and capture her, and the audience, into the performance.
“Luna” features original music, pre-recorded spoken word and incredible movement in each performance. A standout among them is “Criatura De La Noche,” performed by Elena Zhirnova. That performance still gives me goosebumps when I think about it.
“Luna” has a great narrative which draws us in to the mind of an artist. Uniquely beautiful and haunting, “Luna” is a breathtaking experience.
“Luna” plays in the Pink Venue through May 27. For more information visit OrlandoFringe.org.
