PHOTOS: Thousands come out for onePULSE’s 5th annual CommUNITY Rainbow Run

ORLANDO | An estimated 3,000 supporters joined onePULSE Foundation at Wadeview Park in Orlando, with hundreds more around the world joining virtually, for the fifth annual CommUNITY Rainbow Run June 5.

Participants showed up in colorful outfits to run, walk, sprint and sashay for the 4.9K race that look them throughout Orlando neighborhoods, passed Pulse and back to Wadeview Park.

The runners weren’t the only ones decked out in rainbow colors and LGBTQ Pride. Homes along the path also decorated in balloons, streamers, flags and more.

After the run, onePULSE presented awards to the best decorated house, largest group of runners, highest individual fundraiser and more. The winners were:

Largest Group: Team Walt Disney World

Best Group Theme: The Soto Family

Most Creative Costume: Orlando Runners Club

Highest Individual Fundraiser: Charlene Cherokee

Farthest Runner: Chelsey Borge, who came from Hawaii
