Emmy Winner Dan Levy will be joining the cast of Netflix’s “Sex Education” for its fourth season.

Netflix confirmed Levy’s involvement with social media posts featuring photos of the “Schitt’s Creek” star along with several other cast members.

“Sex Education” is a British dramedy series that streams on Netflix and was created by Laurie Nunn. The series follows the lives of the students, staff and parents of the fictional Moordale Secondary School as they contend with various personal dilemmas, often related to sexual intimacy.

The Hollywood Reporter stated that Levy will appear in the show’s fourth season in a recurring role. Other new additions to the season include Thaddea Graham, Marie Reuther, Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James and Imani Yahshua. The entertainment publication also confirmed that Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie and Samantha Spiro will all return for season four.

“Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis (played by Butterfield) and Eric (played by Gatwa) now face a new frontier — their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College,” stated Netflix in a statement of the show’s upcoming season. “Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, while Eric is praying they won’t be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students — they thought they were progressive but this new college is another level. There’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe and a group of kids who are popular for being … kind?! Viv (played by Ezeudu) is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson (played by Williams-Stirling) is still struggling to get over Cal (played by Saleh). Aimee (played by Wood) tries something new by taking an Art A Level and Adam (played by Swindells) grapples with whether mainstream education is for him. Over in the U.S., Maeve (played by Mackey) is living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, while adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus.”

Levy will play Thomas, Maeve’s U.S. tutor at her Ivy League college.

Netflix has not set a release date for “Sex Education” season four yet.
