Christian Walker, conservative influencer and son to senate candidate in Georgia Herschel Walker, posted several videos and tweets slamming his father over an article released by The Daily Beast accusing the anti-abortion candidate of paying for his girlfriend’s abortion in 2009.
“I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us,” Christian Walker wrote on Twitter Oct. 3. “You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”

The article alleges that a woman, who asked not to be identified out of privacy concerns, conceived a child with Herschel Walker while they were dating in 2009 and that he urged her to get an abortion.
“The woman said she had the procedure and that [Herschel] Walker reimbursed her for it,” the article states. “She supported these claims with a $575 receipt from the abortion clinic, a ‘get well’ card from Walker, and a bank deposit receipt that included an image of a signed $700 personal check from Walker. The woman said there was a $125 difference because she “ball-parked” the cost of an abortion after Googling the procedure and added on expenses such as travel and recovery costs.”
Christian Walker blasted his father who has been running on a “family values” platform, calling for a total ban on abortion with no exception for rape, incest or the life of the mother.
“I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability,” Christian Walker tweeted. “But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some “moral, Christian, upright man.” You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you.”

He continued, writing that “Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one. He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it. I’m done.”

Christian Walker returned to Twitter Oct. 4, posting two videos addressing comments he has been receiving about his original tweets.
“I’ve stayed silent for nearly two years as my whole life has been lied about publicly. I did ONE campaign event, then said I didn’t want involvement. Don’t you dare test my authenticity,” he wrote.
I’ve spoken to nearly all of the people who have attacked me and told them quietly that I didn’t want to be involved.
Now they’re blaming me for everything I’m not responsible for. It’s disgusting. pic.twitter.com/rhMRNHMDaC

The “ONE campaign event” Christian Walker mentions in his tweet was an event last December at Mar-a-Lago where he introduced his father.
“I got to preach about how authoritarian and HORRIFIC Democrats are, then got to hug a future senator. Perfect night,” Christian Walker wrote.

Herschel Walker has denied the allegations, saying in a statement that “This is a flat-out lie — and I deny this in the strongest terms possible.”
The Associated Press reported that, for now, Republicans in Washington are standing by Herschel Walker, with a spokesman for the Senate GOP’s campaign arm dismissing The Daily Beast story as “nonsense” rooted in desperation by Democrats.
