Evangelical group sells ?ex-gay? program

A â┚¬Å”serious budget shortfallâ┚¬Â has caused Focus on the Family to cede control of its contentious â┚¬Å”Love Won Outâ┚¬Â conferences about homosexuality to another religious organization. Focus on the Family, founded by evangelical Christian activist James Dobson, announced it would no longer run events promising to help men and women overcome same-sex attraction. They will instead be staged by Florida-based Exodus International, a network of ministries whose core message is â┚¬Å”Freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ.â┚¬Â
