The Reverend Jim Merritt, M. Div., has been installed as Provisional Pastor at Trinity Metropolitan Church in Gainesville. Merritt is a nationally known civil rights activist currently serving as Marriage Equality Coordinator for Metropolitan Community Church’s Global Justice Team and as Marriage Equality and Adoptions Coordinator for the church’s Public Policy team.
He has also served as Interim Pastor at Joy MCC in Orlando and has spoken at MCCs throughout the United States.
