Mark’s List Magazine and the South Florida Agenda aren’t the only phoenixes emerging from the ashes left behind when Window Media went bankrupt in November.
Broward criminal defense attorney Norm Kent began Express Gay News in 1999 and sold it four years later to Window Media, which published Southern Voice, South Florida Blade, and 411 Magazine.
The first issue of South FloridaGayNews.com will be published on Jan. 25, coinciding with what would have been the 11th anniversary of Express Gay News. The tabloid-size paper will be published Mondays with 12,000 copies distributed to 300 locations.
