Pride on 7th goes outdoors
Pride on 7th will return for its second year but in a new location and in a new month. The young LGBT Pride event will be held Saturday, April 30, at 9:30 a.m. with an anti-bullying walk along 7th Avenue and an outdoor vendor space in the Centro Ybor courtyard from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Organizers say they expect this year's outdoor venue to attract 10,000 visitors. Those attending will be asked to donate $10 to benefit Francis House, Equality Florida and Metro Wellness and Community Centers. For details, visit PrideOn7th.com.

Pride & Passion returns May 21
The annual kick off to Pride Month returns to Tampa on May 21 with Pride & Passion 2011 at the Tampa Museum of Art. Organizers anticipate a crowd of more than 500 people for the annual evening celebrating LGBT artistic expression, events and music. Tickets are $75.
