Once again, the huge Doubletree Hilton was a hub of activity, with good crowds at two pools… the main party pool, and one for bears and girls. The sold-out Expo drew a steady crowd, and the pool areas were festive. There was a little less first-day energy… probably because so many GayDayS attendees arrived as early as Tuesday and Wednesday. By late afternoon, a glimpse inside hotel rooms revealed many trying to sneak in a nap before a second round of water park and pool parties.
