Nearly three years after its first appearance in Tampa Bay, the Rainbow Wedding Network is returning with its Gay and Lesbian Wedding Expo this fall.
The lesbian-owned RainbowWeddingNetwork has produced over 50 â┚¬Å”Same Love, Same Rightsâ┚¬Â Expos in 19 different states. In 2004, the company helped couples plan ceremonies in Cambridge, Mass., just two weeks prior to marriage rights being enacted in Massachusetts. Rainbow Wedding Network also produced four back-to-back expos throughout California during the summer of 2008, bringing couples face-to-face with hundreds of gay-friendly exhibitors.
New York, of course, is a major focus now for the company thanks to the recent marriage equality ruling by the New York Senateâ┚¬â€Âbut that doesn't mean other states are left out.
Several dozen LGBT friendly wedding-affiliated companies will descend upon the Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore Hotel on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested and donations for $5-$15 are requested to keep the expos going. Further information and tickets are available online at RainbowWeddingNetwork.com.
