It’s been a long time coming, but Kristen Stewart is finally confirmed to be dating personal assistant Alicia Cargile. In a well-intentioned move, Kristen Stewart’s mom outed her daughter in an interview with the UK’s Sunday Mirror, confirming her daughter’s rumored relationship to Cargile.
“I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl,” said Jules Stewart, Kristen Stewart’s mom.
The rumors come about after the infamous and publicized end to Kristen Stewart’s relationship with Robert Pattinson in 2013.
Jules Stewart then told the Sunday Mirror that she accepted her daughter’s sexuality.
“I feel like people need to be free to love whoever they want. I accept my daughter loves women and men. It’s OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers,” she said.
