Tampa – A jury found Deandre Tolliver, accused of murdering a well-known Hamburger Mary’s Drag performer, guilty of murder.
Anthony Lee, known as South Beach Wanda, was shot and killed in May 2013.
Tolliver was charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a firearm and armed burglary of a dwelling with assault.
No physical evidence was found that put Tolliver at the scene of the crime, but a jailhouse bunkmate said Tolliver admitted to the crime. The gun was never recovered.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 23. Tolliver faces life in prison.
