Tampa – An 18-year-old is under arrest, accused of the murder of India Clarke, a transgender woman whose body was found July 21 in a Tampa community center playground.
Keith Lamayne Gaillard faces charges of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a violent career criminal. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Gaillard had a personal relationship with Clarke. He turned himself in July 29.
Previously, police identified Clarke, 25, as “Samuel Clarke.”
