The Pride Chamber to launch Bounce Back Orlando

ORLANDO | The Pride Chamber, Central Florida’s LGBTQ chamber of commerce, is launching its small business initiative Bounce Back Orlando May 1 in response to the economical impact on small businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bounce Back Orlando is a directory of small businesses in Orlando and around Central Florida that encourages residents and visitors to buy from local small businesses. The Pride Chamber is joined by the Mills 50 District and Seminole County Chamber as participating local chambers.

The directory will consist of small businesses in the Greater Orlando Metro area that have less than 50 employees. The listings will be free of charge for the participating businesses and will be open to home-based businesses as well.

“When the website goes live we want to encourage you ask your friends to support local businesses,” the website reads. “You can do this by sharing the link to your business and others on social media, and by patronizing local small businesses when you need products or services.”

Once the pandemic is over, The Pride Chamber plans to rename BounceBackOrlando.com to ShopSmallOrlando.com to encourage everyone to continue shopping at local, small businesses.

Small business owners in Central Florida can register for free at BounceBackOrlando.com/register-your-small-business. The website states that any information provided by small businesses in the registration process will be only to set up the online business profile. Information collected will not be sold.

For more information and to see a list of participating small businesses, visit BounceBackOrlando.com starting May 1.
