TAMPA | Voss Events has rescheduled its holiday-themed “Drive ‘N Drag Saves Christmas” in response to COVID-19, including its Tampa  Bay stop originally scheduled for Dec. 4-5.

The drive-in experience was originally set for four performances at Westfield Brandon, hosted by former “RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner Bianca Del Rio and featuring a number of other performers from the hit series. A subsequent tour is now scheduled to stop in Tampa Bay Feb. 23-24.

“Due to the escalating virus situation across the country, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our December Drive ‘N Drag tour until February when it is expected to be safer for our artists, employees and customers to travel,” Voss’ website reads. Existing ticket holders have been automatically transferred to the new dates.

New ticket sales are also open for the upcoming tour, which will feature “an exciting new theme and stops in additional cities.” Currently, Fort Lauderdale is the tour’s only other Florida stop Feb. 26-27.

“Your support during these difficult times provides much needed work for our employees, queens and crew who have been hard hit by the pandemic,” Voss notes. “We thank you for your continued support and understanding.”
