Mark Wahlberg’s latest film “Joe Bell,” an emotional true story that follows an Oregonian father who embarks on a self-reflective walk across America to pay tribute to his gay teenage son who took his own life, had its final trailer released July 14.

The film is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, best known for the 2018 film “Monsters and Men,” and is penned by the Academy Award-winning writing duo behind 2005’s “Brokeback Mountain,” Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry.

Wahlberg stars as the titular Joe Bell with Reid Miller starring as Joe’s son, Jadin Bell, and Connie Britton as his wife, Lola Bell. Gary Sinise also appears in the film. The film is rated R and opens in theaters July 23.
