The hive is finally about to be shaken; Beyoncé has announced her next solo album — set to be released on July 29.

The album, titled “Renaissance,” was teased by the musician, 40, on her social media accounts with the words “act i … RENAISSANCE,” as well as on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal, which posted artwork featuring the same phrasing. The music giants also gave listeners the chance to pre-save the release, and Apple Music hints at the album containing 16 tracks.

This will be the star’s seventh and first studio album since her 2016 smash hit “Lemonade.” In the six years since, she has released a live album titled “Homecoming,” a collaborative album with husband Jay-Z titled “Everything is Love” and the soundtrack to the live-action version of “The Lion King,” in which Beyoncé voiced the character of Nala.

Earlier this month, Beyoncé’s website teased the upcoming project with the words “What is a B7?” and she told Harper’s Bazaar that she had been working on new music.

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love and laugh again,” Beyoncé said. “I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible. I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half.”

When detailing her music-making process, she said: “Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies.

“Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
