Watermark is pleased to introduce two new blogs!

Big day! Big news! Watermark Online is now host to two new blogs, and you are going to love them both.

First up, Scottie Saves the World.

Scottie Campbell’s home for news about volunteer opportunities, organizations doing remarkable work and his own activism efforts, the first of which will be kicking off this week, so be sure to check back soon to find out how you can help.

For a little less of the angel and more of the devil, check out Fire Down Below.

Previously, Erik Caban had been posting as a contributor to the (now defunct) Dispatches from the Neighborhood blog, but his stories were so engaging and fun, we decided to give him his own space. His current archives are there, and it’s the place to go for Erik’s new stories, too.

Speaking of blogs, are you checking out all the great stuff Watermark Online has to offer?

Spontaneous Consumption is the blog home for all things pop culture.

A number of staffers contribute posts, and we’ve covered everything there from book reviews to debating the latest cut on Project Runway. Keep watching that space, too – we’ll be rolling out restaurant reviews before long.

And I’m sure you already know about Beautiful Wickedness.

But just in case you have not yet found this gem, it’s where Watermark’s very own celebrity whore, John Sullivan, talks about all the behind-the-scenes stuff associated with all things celebrity, from local favorites to international superstars.

And finally, there’s what you are reading now, WaterLog.

As Watermark’s Online Editor, I filter through a LOT of content, and not everything makes it into the paper. (If it did, each issue would have to be the size of a phone book!) WaterLog is where I log and post all the stuff that doesn’t fit anywhere else, as well as any other political, issues-oriented or media stories that you cannot miss.

New posts to all the blogs appear in the “Blogs + Opinions” box front and center on the homepage, and you can always check out old entries by hovering over the “Blogs” tab across the top of the site – a drop down menu will allow you to choose which blog you would like to visit. Please check them out, comment and participate. We want you to be part of the conversation, and we’d love to hear what you have to say.
