MBA makes a move March 2

The Metropolitan Business Association (MBA), Orlando’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce, is relocating.

According to MBA president Mikael Audebert, on March 2, the MBA will move from its Thornton Park location to the Plaza South Towers downtown. The move adds 1,100 square feet which allows the MBA to launch EXECU-SUITE, a program offering chamber members a virtual office with a business address, phone number and conference room access.

“This is what any organization aspires to,” said Audebert in a media release. “Outgrowing one’s space is always a good problem to have.”

In addition, the MBA has announced that Joe Solmonese, former president of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), will be the keynote speaker at the second annual Pride in Business Awards Gala on April 26. Solmonese served as HRC president from 2005 to 2012 and was appointed National co-Chair of the Obama For America Campaign in 2012.

The Gala will be held at the DoubleTree Hilton Orlando Downtown. More information and tickets will be available later in February at MBAOrlando.org.
