The Center to host Diversity Breakfast
The GLBT Center of Central Florida (The Center) will host a Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast May 20, in honor of Milk’s birthday which is on May 22. The breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Dubsdread Country Club. U.S. Congressman Alan Grayson (FL-9th) and Stuart Milk, Harvey Milk’s nephew, will speak. Tickets to the event are $40 at available at HarveyMilkOrlando.eventbrite.com or at The Center.

Attorneys to discuss DOMA, Prop 8
The Central Florida Gay and Lesbian Lawyers Association and the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association are presenting a panel discussion on DOMA and Prop 8 May 17 at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in downtown Orlando. Titled “Is Separate the Indubitable Equivalent of Equal? A Panel Discussion on How Hollingsworth v. Perry and United States v. Windsor May Change the Country’s (and Florida’s) Social & Financial Landscape”, the discussion will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Court.
