ORLANDO | Five years after the Pulse nightclub shooting, Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda are re-releasing their charity single “Love Make the World Go Round” to provide additional support for Orlando and those affected by the tragedy from June 12, 2016.

The re-release of the song aims to “continue to celebrate love, foster community, and raise additional funds to honor the victims, their families, survivors, and the community,” according to a press release.

onePULSE posted to its Facebook page about the single’s re-release.

“We wanted to revisit this song now, five years later, as the message of healing and love is more prevalent than ever,” said Miranda in the press release. “And following Pride Month, we wanted to continue celebrating love year round.”

Similar to the original 2016 release, Lopez, Miranda and Sony Music are donating their royalties from the song to the Hispanic Federation. The Hispanic Foundation will then donate the amount to the onePULSE Foundation to support the National Pulse Memorial & Museum, educational programs and the 49 Legacy Scholarships established in remembrance of the victims.
