ORLANDO | The Pride Chamber, Orlando’s LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce, announced in a press release Feb. 6 that Vinnie Silber has been hired on as it’s new Director of Membership & Events.

“We are very excited to welcome Vinnie on board as our full-time Director of Membership & Events,” said Daniel H. Sohn, The Pride Chamber’s president/CEO, in the release. “His strong work ethic has already proven exceptional, and so we are excited to introduce him to the Central Florida Business Community.”

Within his new role, Silber will take on the responsibility of recruitment of new members and the retention of existing ones, with a focus on creating a vibrant and inclusive community. Silber will also lead the charge in developing and implementing innovative membership programs and events aimed at providing tangible benefits to Chamber members. These initiatives encompass business development opportunities, dynamic networking events and educational programming designed to empower and enrich the local business community, the chamber states in its release.

Silber comes to the chamber after serving eight years on the USA Gymnastics Florida State Board of Directors. He has 30+ years as a program/team director at various gymnastics schools in both New York and Florida. Silber, along with his husband of 22 years, Doug, their daughter and two dogs, have called Florida home since 2007.
