TLC is renewing Jazz Jennings’s docu-series I Am Jazz for a second season.

The reality series follows the life of the 15-year-old transgender teen – who is also an author and transgender activist – as she balances school, family and her new-found fame in the ten episode premiere season this past summer.

As in the first season, the cast will consist of Jennings, her parents, her sister and twin brothers.

No word on what events will be a part of the second season’s eight episode order from TLC, but the show will have plenty to choose from. Jennings was named one of the “25 Most Influential Teens” by TIME for the second year in a row, co-authored the book I Am Jazz and started the non-profit Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation with her parents.

Jennings also made headlines a few weeks ago when she penned an open letter in Milwaukee’s Journal Sentinel after a local school cancelled a reading of her new book because of some parents who felt the reading was inappropriate.

I Am Jazz, season 2, will premiere on TLC in 2016.
