The Pinellas County Health Department has partnered with The Flamingo Resort and AIDS Service Association of Pinellas to heighten awareness of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Feb. 7.
The national day is designed to encourage African-Americans across the country to get educated, tested and treated regarding HIV/AIDS.
The health department will offer free H1N1 vaccines, Hepatitis B vaccines, syphilis screenings, and rapid HIV testing at The Flamingo Resort at 4601 34th St. S., on Sunday, Feb. 7, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
