Focus on Family advertises with Broncos
Just weeks after star Tim Tebow signed on with the Denver Broncos, the anti-gay group Focus on the Family has bought TV ad time on more than a dozen Bronco games this season. This spring it partnered with Tebow to film an anti-abortion ad during the Super Bowl.
Dungy offended by Ryan’s language
Former NFL coach Tony Dungy is offended by the language New York Jets coach Rex Ryan used on HBO’s Hard Knocks. The former Tampa Bay Bucs coach said he would never fire someone like Ryan because of his language. Dungy has said he is against gay men coming out while involved in the sport.
