Hope Unites Church of Christ has a new part time Supply Pastor for 2011. Rev. Pamela Braid most recently served as Chaplain for the inaugural year of the Southeast Volusia Care Center of Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia / Flagler and lives with her wife, Laurie, in New Smyrna Beach.
Braid received her Master of Divinity from Yale University Divinity School.
“I’m thrilled because of the church; it’s my privilege to join the folks there,” Braid said.
There will be an acknowledgement of Braid’s new role at the 9:30 a.m. service on Jan. 9.
