The Sisters bring back Pink Weekend
Pink Weekend returns to Tampa Bay Feb. 25-27. The annual fundraiser benefits Hillsborough Arts Council’s Arts Education youth Program and features artists, fashion, performances and more. Festivities begin at 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, at PLAY in Ybor with an $8 suggested donation at the door. The fun continues Saturday, Feb. 26 with special performances at the Flamingo Resort at 9 p.m. The weekend concludes on Sunday, Feb. 27, with a barbecue and lunch at City Side beginning at 3 p.m. For details, visit FlSisters.org.

Byrd named president of bar association
Tampa attorney O. Kim Byrd was elected president of the National LGBT Bar association during an annual meeting in Atlanta. He has served as president elect and treasurer for the NLGBT Bar and was recognized as an outstanding pro-bono attorney for Bay Area Legal Services. The LGBT Bar is an affiliate of the American Bar Association (ABA) and its membership includes lawyers, judges, other legal professionals, and law students, as well as affiliated local LGBT bar organizations

Pride on 7th to return in April
Pride on 7th is back, and this year it’s slated for Saturday, April 30. The second Pride on 7th will be in a new location within the heart of Ybor City and run by The Umbrella Management Group. Details about what’s been dubbed PO7 2.0 will be forthcoming soon, according to organizers Jorge Alvarado and Mike Hammonds.

Bradley’s on 7th to open in Ybor

A new nightclub is slated to open in Ybor City on Saturday, March 5. Bradley’s on 7th is described as a dance bar that features a cast of its own divas. Popular entertainer Joey Brooks is the show director and emcee. Bradley’s is at1510 E. 7th Ave. For more information call 813-241-2723.
