HIV fundraiser will happen during Pride promenade
Attendees at St. Pete Pride can donate money to assist people living with HIV/AIDS and battling cancer by simply tossing money onto a rainbow flag during the promenade June 25.

According to Ed Carter with a new non profit-TheUtilityProject.com-organization, a group will carry a 25-foot-long rainbow flag in the St. Pete Pride Promenade the last Saturday of this month. Any money tossed onto the flag will be collected at the end of the parade route and donated through several AIDS Service Organizations in Pinellas County and The Florida Cancer Specialist Foundation in St. Petersburg.

Florida LEGAL retreat to land at Flamingo
For the first time, the annual retreat of the Law Enforcement Gay And Lesbians will hold its annual retreat at the Flamingo Resort the weekend of June 17. And they'll have plenty to celebrate, with the help of Tupperware Queen Dixie Longate.
According to organizers, the group focused on building a community among LGBT law enforcement officers in Florida will hold meet-and-greet events, a fishing trip and the special show by Dixie's Tupperware Party. The retreat is open to everyone and attendees do not have to be members of LEGAL to participate.
