Teacher fired over gay porn past
A Miami Dade substitute teacher has lost his job after a former career as a gay porn star was revealed. In addition to teaching, Sean Loftis gained notoriety as a CNN iReporter, doing citizen's reporting for the news giant's website. The Miami New Times reports that he worked in porn from 2005 â┚¬â€œ 2010 under the name â┚¬Å”Collin O'Neal.â┚¬Â The ACLU turned down Loftis' request that they take up his case.
Wilton Manors 2nd gayest place
New census numbers show Wilton Manors, a neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, is the U.S. jurisdiction with the second-most same-sex couples per 1,000 households. Analysis by the Williams Institute shows Wilton Manors has 140 same-sex couples per 1,000 households. Provincetown, Massachusetts came in first, with a reported 163 same-sex couples her 1,000 households.
