Pride Bowling League returns to Ten Pin Lanes
Tampa Bay LGBT bowlers have a new but familiar option for Sunday night league play. The Pride Bowling League has reinvented the league that has run in South Pasadena for years in Pinellas County. This time, however, the league is shorter. It began on Sept. 11 and runs through Dec. 4. All skill levels are welcome. Phillies release â┚¬ËœIt Gets Better' video
The Philadelphia Phillies are the latest Major League Baseball team, along with the Tampa Bay rays, to release a video in the â┚¬Å”It Gets Betterâ┚¬Â campaign. The Phillies' video features Chase Utley, Roy Halladay, Hunter Pence, John Mayberry, Jr. and Michael Stutes. The campaign is an ongoing effort to combat anti-gay bulling in schools and has featured sports celebrities, television celebrities and even President Barack Obama.
