Still waiting for Supreme Court’s decisions on marriage equality

The Supreme Court released decisions on six cases today (June 24), but still no word on the two cases related to marriage equality.

So when will the justices finally rule on Prop 8 and DOMA?

The Supreme Court has announced that they’ll be back 10 a.m. tomorrow (June 24), so that means we might not have to wait for Thursday for marriage equality decisions. However, it appears we’ll have opinions tomorrow and at least one more day after that, because according to the attorneys at SCOTUSblog, “The Chief Justice usually makes an announcement on the second-to-last day of the Term, in which he says that the court will reconvene to announce the remainder of the opinions. That announcement wasn’t made today, so we think for sure we’ll have more than one day.”

There are six cases remaining. SCOTUSblog has a summary of all pending cases, including Hollingsworth v. Perry (Prop 8) and United States v. Windsor (DOMA).
