Major League Baseball will make a big announcement about about fighting homophobia before the All-Star Game in Minneapolis on July 15.
The announcement will “dramatically shift [the MLB’s] ability to combat homophobia and help gay players, coaches and staff in the League,” OutSports.com reported.
At last year’s All-Star Game in New York, the League announced their new zero-tolerance policy for discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Last year’s policy created a workplace code of conduct. The code of conduct was distributed to every major league and minor league player.
The policy also provided new training sessions and created a centralized complaint system to report any harassment and discrimination.
