The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs is investigating two separate complaints on how the GLBT Center of Central Florida conducted the handling of donations in the days and weeks after the Pulse shooting June 12, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The complaints, one filed in September and the other in November, ask the DACA to look into the managing of gift cards coming into the Center as well as the handling of donations of computers and money after Pulse.
Aaron Keller, press secretary for the DACA, tells the Sentinel that the investigation was opened after the second complaint “in an abundance of caution.”
