ORLANDO | The Metropolitan Business Association celebrated 25 years, as well as the recognition of Chamber of the Year, at their annual Pride Gala Business Awards for 2017 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando Nov. 4.
Hosting again this year was the dynamic duo of Jorge Estevez and Miss Sammy who brought plenty of laughs and charm (and not to mention some pretty good dance moves).
The evening’s awards went to:
New Business of the Year – CDW Electrical Services, Inc.
Small Business of the Year – edgefactory
Business Owner of the Year – Clayton Reynolds of Suite Management Corp
Corporate Ally of the Year – Akerman LLP
Nonprofit of the Year – The One Orlando Alliance
Business Leader of the Year – Jennifer Foster of Foster Productions, Inc. and Carlos Carbonell of Echo Interaction Group
The highlight of the evening came when longtime LGBTQ advocate and nephew to the legendary Harvey Milk, Stuart Milk, spoke before the packed hall.
