Music divas Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande will be releasing their highly-anticipated collaboration, “Rain On Me,” May 22.
“Rain On Me” will be the second single released from Gaga’s sixth studio album, “Chromatica.” The album’s first single “Stupid Love,” which dropped Feb. 28, debuted at No. 1 on iTunes in 58 countries and the music video, shot entirely on an iPhone 11 Pro, has been viewed more than 80 million times.
Gaga announced May 6 that the full “Chromatica” album will be released May 29. The album was originally scheduled to be released April 10 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic,” Gaga wrote on her social media March 24.
“Rain On Me” is one of three collaborations on the new album. Along with Grande, Gaga will team with Elton John and Blackpink on two other tracks. Gaga will appear with John on a song called “Sine From Above” and with Blackpink on a song called “Sour Candy.”
