ORLANDO | An art collection titled “BUDDHA-LICIOUS: A Collection of New Paintings by Fritz” by local artist, Fritz Stinebaugh, is coming to Savoy Orlando on June 3 at 6 p.m.

The art exhibit will feature around 10 art pieces, mainly acrylic on canvas pieces, that are rich in colors and patterns.

“I’ve always been an artist and a painter my entire life. I don’t ever remember not painting, it’s my life,” Stinebaugh says.

The nationally acclaimed artist, who specializes in abstracts, Asian, humans, seascapes, Zen and sitemap art pieces, uses a unique style of painting with chopsticks to create “dynamic and textured art.”

“I let the paint trickle down the chopsticks to create colors on the paintings,” Stinebaugh said. “The chopsticks make textures and patterns really interesting on a canvas.”

The name for the exhibit, “BUDDHA-LICIOUS,” comes from the paintings’ unique patterns and bright colors that Stinebaugh says resembles candy in a way.

Those interested in purchasing art pieces from Stinebaugh can do so by visiting his website at fritzstinebaugh.com.
