ORLANDO | onePulse Foundation held a Veterans Day Memorial Service Nov. 11 to honor all veterans in the U.S military as well as remember and memorialize two victims of the Pulse tragedy — Captain Antonio Davon Brown of the U.S. Army Reserve and Specialist Angel Candelario-Padro of the Puerto Rico National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve.
The ceremony showcased the memorial’s new flagstaff, as guest speakers thanked all in attendance for coming to show their support. Prayers were given in both English and Spanish, blessing those who stopped by and honored Brown and Candelario-Padro.
The Orlando Police Department placed a wreath in front of the flag pole to show their solidarity to U.S. veterans and LGBTQ military servicemen.
