Ellen DeGeneres welcomed musicians Jim and Sasha Allen, a father/son duo who made history on “The Voice,” to her talk show this week.
During the NBC show’s latest season, Sasha became the first openly transgender person to make it to the singing competition’s Top 8.
Sasha talked about how he hopes his story can help others going through a similar situation while Jim shared his important role as a parent and how now was the perfect time for Sasha to tell his story. Watch below:
