TAMPA | Tampa Pride is seeking entertainers for its upcoming eighth celebration, currently scheduled to return to Ybor March 26.

“Much of the success of Tampa Pride’s events, such as our Street Festival, depends on the great talent we attract each year,” organizers advise. Performers are being sought for both the event’s  outdoor main stage as well as inside of the Cuban Club.

“This year for Pride we are trying to make entertainment one of the most diverse line ups we have ever had,” Tampa Pride Entertainment Committee Chair John Owen-Chambrone says. “We are still taking submissions … check out the link on the Tampa Pride page to sign up!”

“I also want everyone to know that we have a great space inside, the Cuban Club Cantina, that will be featuring entertainment all day long,” Owen-Chambrone adds. “Be sure to stop by, hit the bar, cool off and check out some great acts!”

Prior to this year’s main event, Tampa Pride will also hold “Ultimate Showdown 2022: Pioneers” on Feb. 20 at Southern Nights Tampa. The benefit and talent competition honors “those who paved the way for our rights.” 15 area entertainers will compete to win a cash prize and more.
