Pinellas Park, Fla. | The third annual Pride at the Village was held May 20 from 2-8 p.m. at Pinellas Arts Village, welcoming “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Ginger Minj as headliner and benefiting Diversity Arts.
Entertainment included this year’s Miss Pride at the Village pageant, which crowned Keirra Ka’oir Summers. The main show was hosted by Daphne Ferraro, who introduced fellow fan favorites Kenya M. Black, Aquariius and Vyn Suazion. Attendees also enjoyed multiple vendors.
Minj’s performances included her rendition of “I Am What I Am,” which will be released as a single June 1. It will tie into the drag star’s “I Am What I Am” campaign to benefit the Drag Defense Fund.
All tips collected during Pride on the Village would also be donated, she added, noting that “it is definitely a pleasure to be here with all of you and a privilege.” Read more about Minj’s recording below:
