The Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) “Voices of Honor” tour, an effort to communicate the harm caused by the nation’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, is working its way through the Sunshine State. The event features gay, lesbian and straight veterans calling for the repeal of the policy which forbids LGBTs in the military from revealing their sexual orientation.
After stops in Miami and Orlando earllier this month, “Voices of Honor” makes its way to St. Petersburg on Thursday, Sept. 17. At 7:30 p.m., there will be a town hall discussion at Nova 535, 535 Dr. Martin Luther King Street N.
