HRC announces date for golf event
The Orlando Chapter of the Human Rights Campaign will hold its first annual Golf Outing on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Dubsdread Golf Club in Orlando. The action begins with nine holes of traditional golf —for the serious competitor—followed by dinner and glow ball after dark on the back nine. Roller derby announces October events
The Orlando Psycho City Derby Girls will hold a rematch between the Bellevue Bombshells and the Sunnyland Slammers on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 5:00 p.m. at the Universal Skating Center, 866 S. Goldenrod Road in Orlando. The league is also sponsoring a meet and greet for new skaters, referees and volunteers on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 8:30 p.m. Derby event tickets are $10 in advance, $13 at the door, and can be purchased through BrownPaperTickets.com/event/129812.
