ORLANDO | One Magical Weekend announced in a Facebook post April 6 that it would being postponing its upcoming June events until June 2-6, 2022.
“Even with the positive news of late, the safety of our guests, sponsors and staff is priority for all of us at Disney, the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista, House of Blues and One Magical Weekend,” the event organizers wrote. “Given the current and expected Covid-19 protocols for June, the OMW events planned for 2021 will be postponed until 2022. So let’s try this again! 30 Years of Orlando!”

“2.022 will mark the 30th year that the LGBT+ Community has journeyed to Orlando to freely express themselves. In 2022, after a very challenging 2020 and 2021, One Magical Weekend will kick-off June Pride Month with international DJs, spectacular nightly events & daytime pool parties where everyone is welcome at the most MAGICAL place on Earth; Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World Resorts!,” the post states.
According to the post, One Magical Weekend will host RipTide at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon June 3, RED Vol. V: Varsity at the House of Blues in Disney Springs June 4 and the party WIG at the Sheraton Hotel June 5. The post also included that the weekend would feature three Therapy pool parties and three Cadabra after hours parties.
One Magical Weekend joins GayDayS and Tidal Wave Party in postponing its events until June 2022.
