The woman who makes Sue Sylvester sizzle has tied the knot.
Jane Lynch married her partner, psychologist Lara Embry, over Memorial Day weekend at the Blue Heron restaurant in Sunderland, Mass. Lynch hasn’t made a statement but restaurant employees are reporting that the two got married in a small ceremony on Monday. The restaurant co-owner told media that “there were no celebrities or recognizable faces there” and that the ceremony was “small, warm, intimate and very sweet.”
There was a 20-minute ceremony on the patio followed by a friend thanking the state of Massachusetts for welcoming gay and lesbian couples. Then the 20 guests enjoyed a jazz band and dinner during the reception.
Lynch and Embry got engaged in November.
