COWP 2014 was a week full of events with Lil’ Kim’s performance at Parliament House being the cherry on top. The Queen Bee of Hip Hop performed Oct. 11, accompanied by performances from Parliament’s drag queens and Footlight Players.
The venue was packed before midnight; Lil’ Kim didn’t take the stage until after 12:30 a.m. She perfomed many of her hits like “Lighters Up” and “Magic Stick” along with new hits from her newly released mixtape Hard Core Mixtape 2k14.
Despite Lil’ Kim pulling a Janet Jackson-esque wardrobe malfunction twice on stage (her top to her outfit didn’t seem like it wanted to cover her boobs), she had the crowd at Parliament House singing along and having a great time. Even Frankie Grande, older brother of Ariana Grande and a former particpant on the reality show Big Brother, showed up to the event to enjoy Lil’ Kim.
