Got a secret talent that you want to share with the world? Metro Wellness is hosting an event right up your alley. Whether you are looking to strum the guitar, belt out a tune or move the crowd with your dopest rhymes come out and show us what you’re working with. The mic is open and hot for talent. $5 cover to get in and there will be a cash bar and refreshments available. Contact Toli at Metro for more information.

Get patriotic this Memorial Day weekend with Southern Nights’ #SwankSaturdays as they give a salute to the American tradition of wearing our patriotism on our sleeves… and shorts, socks, boxers and any other piece of clothing that comes in red, white and/or blue to show how much you love America. As always Southern will be sporting some of the hottest dancers and bartenders this side of the New World along with $2 wells ‘til 11: p.m., $7 Grey Goose ‘til midnight and $5 Fireball all night. Music by DJ JB Burgos and a show featuring Roxxxy Andrews, Jade Embers and Dulce Andrews. No cover before 10:00 p.m.

If you were to make a list of things the LGBT community loves brunch, drag and Pride events would all be near the top of most of those lists, so the Flamingo Resort is throwing all three into a mixer and is bringing you Pride Brunch! Spend your Sunday at Flamingo with unlimited mimosas, delicious brunch dishes and a spectacular drag show featuring Alexis Mateo, Alexis De La Mer, Ashlee Bangkx, Iman, Jaeda Fuentes and Jeffrey Kelly Abess. A portion of every ticket sold goes to support St. Pete Pride.

The 15th largest fan convention in the world is coming back to Orlando. MegaCon, which is dedicated to fans of comics, gaming, sci-fi, horror and anime, boasts a star-studded list of guests this year including Marvel mastermind Stan Lee, Star Trek legends William Shatner, Nichelle Nichols and George Takei along with Christopher Lloyd from Back to the Future and a host of actors from the Harry Potter movie series. Fans of the classic Batman TV series can rejoice as well: Adam West and Burt Ward will be there, as well as props from the series including the original Batcopter and Batmobile. After the convention on Saturday, hit up the Parliament House for an afterparty including music and a $3,000 costume contest! Find out more about the convention here.

Animal Kingdom, Disney
Visit Animal Kingdom during sundown to check out a host of new Disney attractions and events, including a carnivale of music and dance on the 27th, a dazzling sundown display at the Tree of Life and a Jungle Book showcase the evening of the 28th featuring performers and music from the film. Two Animal Kingdom restaurants will be opening Friday night as well: Tiffins and the Nomad Lounge watering hole.

Memorial Weekend Sunday T-Dance with DJ Tracy Young

Parliament House Resort, Orlando
Swing by Parliament House on Sunday for their biggest T-Dance of the year, featuring DJ and music producer Tracy Young. It’s free to get in and you can enjoy shows at the Footlight Theatre at 7 p.m., 10 p.m. and midnight.
