Orlando, Fla. (AP) – Organizers say a concert version of the show Fun Home held in Orlando last weekend with the Broadway cast raised more than $100,000 for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Organizers of the benefit said earlier this week that the one-night concert in Orlando raised $113,000.
All nine of the show’s Broadway cast, as well as creators Lisa Kron, Jeanine Tesori and Sam Gold, flew down from New York on Sunday to participate in the Orlando concert.
All of the proceeds were going to the Pulse victims and gay rights group Equality Florida.
The Broadway show closes in New York this September.
