After one of the most talked about events last year, Balance Tampa Bay is back to host the second annual Masquerade Ball, presented by the AIDS Heathcare Foundation.
This year’s Masquerade Ball follows in the steps of the 2016 Olympic Games with its theme “Rio,” and will be at District 3 in downtown Tampa August 6.
“Our inaugural Masquerade Ball was attended by 425 people and raised $10,000 for last year’s charity; the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas. This year with more sponsors, more volunteers and more experience putting on this event, we expect a sell-out crowd,” said Scott Kligmann, president of Balance Tampa Bay, in a press release.
This year’s event will benefit Francis House, a Tampa HIV supportive service charity serving about 450 clients each month.
The “Masquerade Ball: Rio” will feature live performances by Event Show Productions, music from world-class DJ CK and a silent auction with unique vacation packages.
The event dress is “wear what you want, but please include a mask,” according Balance Tampa Bay’s website.
The evening will also feature a VIP reception before the main event with complimentary Tito Vodka drinks and hors d’oeuvres, as well as an official after-party at Southern Nights Tampa in Ybor City.
Tickets for “Masquerade Ball: Rio” are $40; or $250 for a personal sponsorship that includes two tickets to the event, entrance to the VIP party and valet parking. Tickets can be purchased at TampaMasquerade.com.
