TAMPA | Bianca Del Rio and more “RuPaul’s Drag Race” royalty rolled into Tampa Feb. 23-24 for “Drive ‘N Drag Saves 2021,” a superhero-themed, socially distanced gathering presented by Voss Events.
The outdoor, drive-in tour featured only two Florida tour stops. Audiences enjoyed performances from the fan favorite queens from their vehicles, surrounded by concert-style staging and lighting.
Del Rio was joined by three contestants from “Drag Race” season 10: the Interstellar Aquaria, its winner; the She-Hulk Kameron Michaels, a finalist and the Luminous Asia O’Hara, who placed fourth. Season 11’s eighth place finisher Plastique Tiara swooped in as The Winged Warrior beside the Dazzling Naomi Smalls, a finalist on season eight and “All Stars” season four, and the team worked together opposite of season seven winner Violet Chachki, the Seductive Villain.
